It has truly been a joy being this group's teacher for the past 100 days!

Celebrating the Olympics with Art

Today we had so much fun celebrating the Winter Olympics through art. First we all painted our medals. Once that was completed we all did a water color with the Olympic rings and last we made our very own Olympic torches. Of course none of this could have been done without the help of all of the wonderful parents that come in and help every other Tuesday!

Reminder: There is NO EARLY RELEASE TOMORROW!

School is out at our regular dismissal time of 3:40 PM tomorrow (Friday, Febraury 19th 2010) due to the shortened week.

100th Day of Kindergarten!

We will be celebrating the 100th Day of Kindergarten Wednesday, February 24th. We will be doing many fun activities throughout the day to celebrate. One of the activities that will be doing is an "100th Day Trail Mix" If you can donate any of the following items before the 24th it would be greatly appreciated!

• 1 box of Cheerios
• 1 box of Fruit Loops
• 1 bag of M & M's
• 1 bag of Marshmallows
• 1 box of Cheez-Its

Valentine's Day

On Thursday, February 11th we will be having our class Valentine's Party. The festivities begin at 1:30 PM and parents are more than welcome to join us. Please send your kinder to school that day with a valentine for everyone so there are no hurt feelings. If you would like to provide a treat OR plates & cups please send me the attached form from your February Newsletter. Our schedule will be as follows.
1:30-2:00 Pass out Valentine's
2:00-2:30 Enjoy treats and watch a video
