We are learning all about how to stay safe in case of a fire in kindergarten this week. We were lucky enough to have a visit by the Burien/Normandy Park Fire Department today to learn more fire safety tips. The kinders were taken on a guided tour through the department's "Smokehouse" where they learned what to do if there was a fire in their house. We talked about having practice fire drills at home and the importance of a meeting place outside the house. We then got a chance to explore the fire truck!!
